Mamma Mia land – Greece

From postcard-perfect islands and crystal-clear beaches to ancient temples and lively seaside towns, Greece is a destination that effortlessly combines relaxation with adventure. Every region has its own unique character, whether you’re wandering through historic streets, watching the sunset over the Aegean Sea, or discovering hidden coves away from the crowds.

One of the first stops on this trip was Athens, where we spent a total of two days. The name Athens – derived from the goddess of wisdom Athena – was very appropriate for the city itself, as it was full of various excavations, temples and museums. We visited most of these museums for free using our EU 18-25 youth ticket discounts, so always remember to bring both your ID or passport and your ISIC student card if you have one.
